She's At It Again!

Momma's at it again, pals.  She's in the kitchen, cooking up some crazy experiment to do at school.  I can hear her mumbling and cackling to herself, gleefully saying "This is gonna be so MESSY!"  Momma loves messy projects.  She says the messier it is, the more fun everyone will have.  And something smells like grape Kool-aid.

For those not in the know, Momma and Daddy are both special education teachers.  They work at the same school, and all the kids at the school have something called awe-tism.  (Momma:  Fizzy means autism).  Over the years, Momma's made lots and lots of messes in the house, making projects for her kids to do.  One time she dumped a whole bottle of rubbing alcohol all over the kitchen.  She's awfully clumsy, that Momma of mine.

I just hope Momma doesn't blow up the kids.  That would bad...

  5. Crikey ... Fizzy ... I know what it's like. My 2 legged sister is a special ed teacher too. She's ALWAYS doing silly things for her SPECIAL kids. You should see her on playground duty. She wears a hat on her head that has a rainbow umbrella sticking up from it and a little whirlygig thing that goes round and round and she wears these sunglasses that are soooooooo bright and colourful. The other teachers must think she is a nut case but the kids LOVE her. We do too. She is a GREAT special ed teacher just like your Mum and Dad. Crikey Momma ... be careful ... don't blow up the kids ... they are SPECIAL remember!!!!!

  7. No worries, pals! No one blew up! For those who were wondering what the heck Momma was making, she was making these things called treasure chests. She mixed baking soda and water and grape kool-aid together and poured it into ice cube trays. Then she put little treasures in each square, like a penny or a pretty bead. Then the kids had to pour vinegar over them and stir them around until the found their treasures! The kids liked it a lot!!
